With more than 1GW currently in the NEP pipeline and plans to treble this with the addition of BESS, renewable generation and expansion into new markets, we will aim to make a large contribution to the global new energy transition.

New Energy Partnership Pipeline

We are developing projects from 20MW to 500MW in size across the UK and beyond, connecting into the local and transmission networks with the aim of supporting the grid operators by helping to balance the electricity network as the rollout of offshore wind and solar gathers pace.

Development Ethos

With more than 40 years of combined experience in renewable energy and battery storage development, striving for decarbonisation of the grid, energy security and local enhancement of the natural environment is at the very heart of what we do. ‘Partnership’ is in our name for a reason, by working closely with communities and stakeholders, NEP aims to foster positive long-term relationships with all parties who are local to our projects.

Pre-Application Phase

Rashley New Energy is a proposal for a 100MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) near Ardrossan in North Ayrshire and will make a large contribution to Scotland's Net Zero targets by turning excess renewable energy into baseload.

Consultation Phase

Braston New Energy is an exciting, state of the art energy storage project proposed by New Energy Partnership. It consists of proposals for a new 500MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project near Ayr. The project will help Scotland meet its climate goals and provide significant economic benefits to Ayrshire.
